From Hathersage to Sheffield by bus, one tip is to go this route:-
Go first to Grindleford by car or train:
For Sheffield catch the 240 bus
For Buxton catch the 65 bus
For Matlock via Chatsworth catch 214 bus
It is also worth noting that on Fridays one can go to/from Chesterfield direct on route 276
(Friday is a Chesterfield Market Day.)
From Hathersage to Derwent, Ladybower reservoirsFairholmes Car Park, on Sundays and Summer Saturdays take bus route 89 A.
Certain buses on routes 65, 240 and 272 go on to Meadowhall after Sheffield Interchange.
